General Ophthalmology

General ophthalmology is the management of common eye, peri-ocular and peri-orbital conditions which affect a large proportion of the population at some time in their life.  Ophthalmologists are trained in the management of conditions that affect all parts of the eye and are able to diagnose and manage a large number of conditions including blepharitis, dry eyes, conjunctivitis, eyelid lumps and bumps, uveitis, cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and age related macular degeneration

General ophthalmologists are also able to deal with urgent eye problems and provide urgent eye care.  At Clinica London we look after patients with oculoplastic, general ophthalmology and urgent eye care problems.
