Skin Melanoma: Where can I learn more about it?

There are various organisations that give information to patients. Such as Cancer Research UK, that have a good section on melanoma.  There is the melanoma organisation, called the Melanoma Research Foundation. It helps patients who have just had a recent diagnosis of melanoma made. And want to know what is going to happen to them next.  The British Association of Dermatology advises mainly the doctors, by providing UK guidelines.
The American Academy of Dermatology provides an excellent overview for patients with melanoma. Explaining that it is the most dangerous type of skin cancer. That if it is allowed to grow, it can spread to other parts of the body and be deadly.  Their review is written easy to understand. It includes non-medical terms and is very clear.
