If you do have medical insurance, please check your policy before making the appointment whether you require a letter of referral from your GP or another specialist.
You should also contact your medical insurer to obtain pre-authorisation for a consultation or surgery. They will give you a pre-authorisation number which you should quote when attending.
All the consultants at Clinica London are fee assured with BUPA and with all the major medical insurance companies (e.g. Aviva, WPA, AXA PPP, Healix, BUPA Global, Allianz Worldwide, Exeter Freindly, Cigna etc), apart from Professor Michel Michaelides who is only fee-assured with BUPA. Fee assured means that your private medical insurance will cover your treatment at Clinica London and you will not have an excess to pay to Clinica London, unless you have a personal excess to pay in your contract with your private medical insurance company.
Please ask the receptionists about fees before your consultation
The Receptionists at Clinica London will be pleased to advise you on the consultation, treatment and surgery fees together with payment methods.
Clinica London welcomes international patients from Africa, the Far east, South America and other European countries and aims to provide them with the highest quality of Harley Street Eye and Skin care.
