An overview of the medical aesthetic treatments offered

At Clinica London we have several available medical aesthetic treatments. Primarily we have fillers, particularly tear through fillers using hyaluronic acid gel. These are done using the cannula as a special treatment around the eyes. We also use sculptra which is for facial sculpting.
This causes biostimulation, so it’s not really a filler, but a different type of treatment that is really natural looking for increasing the volume of the face, particularly the temples and the cheeks.
We also do ultherapy which is micro-focused thermo-coagulation of the deep dermis. That helps to lift the face and it is FTA approved for non-surgical face lift. It’s very effective as maintenance and also for lifting. It can be done just around the jowls and also around the eyes and forehead.
We also offer various treatment by the nurses, both myself and the nurses do Botox treatments for wrinkles and the nurses do derma roller and intraceuticals.
Intraceuticals is a lovely treatment using hyaluronic acid gel which is infused into the skin at the same time as the facial using oxygen. It plumps up the skin, lifts it and makes it look very refreshed. It is very good for couple of days before an event.

Ms Jane Olver is the founder of Clinica London and a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic Surgeon. Her special expertise is in oculoplastic and cosmetic eye surgery including eyelids and lacrimal surgery. She is specialised in endoscopic lacrimal surgery for watering eyes in adults and children. She has over 20 years’ experience in treating people with eye problems just like you, and has published extensively in scientific journals about Ophthalmology and Lacrimal Surgery and is the author of the books “Ophthalmology at a Glance” and “Colour Atlas of Lacrimal Surgery”. At Clinica London, she is responsible for the Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery part, as well as patients with eye, eyelid and tear duct problems, and acute eye problems.
