How do you price your surgeries and set your treatment fees?

It’s very important that we are completely transparent with our patients on pricing and fees. And so we’ve got published lists of all our prices for our surgical oculoplastic and lacrimal procedures. They are on our website and also available by telephone.
Though, each patient may require slightly different operation. I’ll give you an example – blepharoplasty can be of the upper lid, or the lower lid or both. If it’s of the lower lid, there may be only a bit of the fatty pockets or it may be just the wrinkly skin. So we price our patients specifically for what’s going to be done.
When I talk about transparency, it is important that patients who are trying to find out the prices at many clinics for surgery know what’s included. So our prices for a surgery include the surgery, the clinic fee (a lot of our surgeries are done here in the clinic under local anaesthetic), the post-op follow ups afterwards and the post-op eye pack. It is very important that the patient knows what’s included in the whole package.
