Professor Michaelides has been lecturing and teaching in China. His Chinese hosts showcased his invitation to lecture and train retina specialists in China in the accompanying photos and their letter of thanks.
Professor Michaelides said,
“I was invited to travel to China to lecture and teach. I spent 3 days in the Ophthalmology Department at Zhengzhou Second People’s Hospital, Henan Province, China
I provided a day of lectures on Diabetic Retinopathy, Uveitic Macular Oedema, and Inherited Retinal Disease to over 120 participants
I saw both adults and children with a broad range of retinal diseases in Outpatient Clinics and on the Wards – providing expert opinion, advice on management and teaching.”
