There are numerous lesions, lumps and bumps in the skin that one can get in all areas of the skin; on the trunk, on the limbs and head and neck area. Some of these may be innocent, benign lesions. Some of them may be more worrisome, some of them may be potentially malignant.
So it would be very very important that you came for a consultation here at Clinica so I could take a very good and thorough history and importantly perform a full examination of the skin lesion, in addition to a full skin check in order to see whether this lesion if something that is innocent and benign like a cyst, like a separate keratosis that we can very easily deal with here at Clinica London with our minor procedure room. Or indeed, if it is something a little bit more worrisome that we would need to look into more detail with regard to.
Jennifer Crawley is a Consultant Dermatologist at Clinica London with a special interest in dermatology. She is an expert in both adult and paediatric dermatology and has particular interests in research, teaching and leading audit projects.
She gained a MBChB qualification from University of Bristol in 2002, after gaining BSc. (Hons) Cellular & Molecular Pathology in 1999. During following years she undertook training and gained work experience in Bristol and London.
Further she has performed a range of surgical and non-surgical procedures, including surgical excision of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, incisional biopsies, shave excisions and curettage and cautery.
