FAQ Videos archive

In this blog archive, we have created a series of videos that our consultants answered frequently asked questions from our patients. The topics range from cataracts, glaucoma, dermatology, diabetic retinopathy, aesthetic treatments, facial rejuvenation, eyelid surgery, etc.

The videos are designed like an actual conversation that the consultant may have with a patient. The video content ranges from questions about the consultants experience to the steps they go through while performing treatments.

How do you treat dark circles under your eyes?

I often get asked about how I treat dark circles under your eyes. Many patients, particularly men, come and see me in with their dark circles. And they can get them quite young. And just it runs in their family, they're not tired. They just have a hollowing around the tear through area and around the malar area.

Can you treat eye bags or malar bags?

I can treat eye bags or malar bags, but first of all, we need to consider which you've got. So to me, as an oculoplastic surgeon, eye bags are if you have got little fatty protrusions through the lower lid here, that occur usually with age, usually familial. Often, they occur because the cheek projection is not very great. And it's quite a flat area at the top of the cheeks.

What is your training in oculoplastics?
