I am trained as an eye surgeon, and work both as a medical general ophthalmologist and oculoplastic (eyelid), lacrimal (tearduct) surgeon, and also do cosmetic rejuvenation and eyelid surgery.
In 2010, I founded Clinica London with the aim of providing a rapid access, high quality, Private Eye and Skin Clinic with several Consultant Specialists. Since 2014, I worked full time at Clinica London as both a Specialist Ophthalmologist and Medical Director.
I see many patients with general eye problems, dry eyes, eyelid and watering eye problems.

I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with a special interest in managing diseases of the front of the eye: cornea, cataract and refractive, as well as external eye diseases (for example dry eye disease and allergic eye disease) here at Clinica London.
The ophthalmic community recognises me as a leader in the management and treatment of severe corneal and ocular surface diseases including inflammatory eye disease and corneal transplantation.
My mix of research and clinical experience have been vital to translate some of my laboratory research findings into the treatment of debilitating eye diseases of the cornea. I am is currently the UK Chief Investigator for a new European clinical trial of corneal stem cells.
Dr Jennifer M. Crawley, MBChB, BSc (Hons), MRCP (Derm)

I am a Consultant Dermatologist at Clinica London. I am an expert in both adult and paediatric dermatology and have particular interests in research, teaching and leading audit projects. I love clinical dermatology and I do many mole checks and treat keloid scars, acne. I do cryotherapy and surgical removal of skin tumours, skintags and seborrhoic keratoses.
I gained a MBChB qualification from the University of Bristol in 2002, after gaining BSc.Hons Cellular & Molecular Pathology in 1999. While working at St. John’s, I was fully integrated in a wide range of research trials.
I am a Consultant in the NHS at the prestigious University College Hospital, where I am involved with undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. I also a course lecturer on an esteemed MRCP PACES course three times per year in central London.
Laura Crawley BSc (Hons), MB ChB (Hons) MRCP, FRCOphth GMC

I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Clinica London with a special interest in treating patients with glaucoma and cataract.
I am very experienced in treating glaucoma and have published extensively in scientific journals and on medical education. I do many emergency operations at the Charing Cross and Western Eye Hospitals for the NHS.
I qualified at the University of Bristol in 1999, winning the Gold medal and Suple prize for medicine and surgery. Having completed my physician training in Bristol, I undertook Ophthalmology training in Oxford and continued training in London at Moorfields Eye Hospital and Imperial College NHS Trust, and at the Western Eye Hospital where I did a two-year fellowship specialising in Glaucoma.

I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Clinica London and at Moorfields Eye Hospital. My main expertise is in medical retina, including diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration, and cataract surgery.
I graduated from the Royal Free Hospital and University College London Medical School where I received a first class distinction for my Bachelor degrees.
I completed primary ophthalmic training at St Thomas’ Hospital and was later awarded a medical doctorate (MD) for my scientific research into new treatments for diabetic maculopathy at King’s College London.
I then completed higher ophthalmic training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital and the Western Eye Hospital, Imperial NHS Trust. I was then selected for advanced sub-speciality fellowship training at Moorfields Eye Hospital where I developed expertise in cataract surgery and management of conditions affecting the retina which include diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.
I am renowned for my teaching excellence in eye surgery and am a clinical supervisor for the London School of Ophthalmology.
Michel Michaelides BSc MB BS MD(Res) FRCOphth FACS
Medical Retina & Inherited Retinal Specialist

I am Professor of Ophthalmology at Moorfields Eye Hospital in the departments of Medical Retina, Inherited Eye Disease and Paediatric Ophthalmology; and am a Department of Health funded Professor at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology. I see my Private patients at Clinica London. My main retinal speciality and passion is Inherited Retinal Diseases.
I am a recipient of a career development award from the Foundation Fighting Blindness (USA) – an award which is rarely given to non-US applicants; and have gained membership of the highly prestigious Macula Society in the USA.
In terms of my clinical role, I am a Consultant in the Departments of Medical Retina, Inherited Eye Disease and Paediatric Ophthalmology, having regular clinics in both adult and paediatric inherited and non-inherited retinal disease. I am regularly involved in delivering therapies for retinal disease, including intravitreal treatments and laser treatments, both with conventional laser and photodynamic therapy.

I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital and the Royal London Hospital (appointed 2017).
At Clinica London, I am responsible for paediatric ophthalmology, strabismus treatment and neuro-ophthalmology. I also see adults and children with general and urgent eye problems and carry out routine and urgent procedures at Clinica London.
I trained as a doctor at the University of Oxford, qualifying in 2004. Following my training, the Royal Hallamshire Hospital (Sheffield) and the University of Sheffield employed me as a junior doctor in Ophthalmology.
I undertook two post-training specialist Fellowships in paediatrics, strabismus and neuro-ophthalmology, including 12 months at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and in Auckland, New Zealand, before becoming a Consultant.
