Event debrief: The Red Face: a tailored Masterclass on how to treat facial eczema

Nearly 24 optometrists and GPs attended our last healthcare professionals lecture held Wednesday, 11th of May 2016 from 18:00 to 20:00 (GMT): “The Red Face: a tailored Masterclass on how to treat facial eczema”.
Experienced Consultant Dermatologist Jennifer Crawley discussed “The Red Face”.

The presentation covered the following points:

• Differential diagnosis of ‘the red face’
• Treatment of facial eczema
• Up to date treatment for Rosacea
• Useful topical therapies
• Photosensitive rashes

In the UK it is estimated that up to 1 in 10 people may have Rosacea.
During this lecture, Ms Crawley explained what Rosacea is and which methods can be applied for generating a faster healing process.
