Information about fees

When you should see a private eye surgeon

It is convenient for you to be seen privately because the waiting time is short, the surroundings at Clinica London are beautiful, relaxing and calm, the wait for treatment or surgery is short, the staff are smily, friendly and effective, and the eye surgeons are experienced and experts in their sub-specialities. The staff are discreet and the service is very professional.

If you do not have medical insurance (self-payer) you do not require a General Practitioner letter of referral. Payment is required on the day of the consultation and one week before surgery. Patients wanting aesthetic treatments or surgery are always self-payers as this is not covered by private medical insurance.

Self-pay consultation prices: Clinica London consultation price List

Prices for aesthetic treatments with anti-wrinkle injections, anti-sweating injections, calf muscle injections, fillers, hyaluronidase enzymatic reversal of fillers, Ultherapy and cosmetic eye lid surgery are available to download.

Medical insurance

If you do have medical insurance, please check your policy before making the appointment whether you require a letter of referral from your GP or another specialist.

You should also contact your medical insurer to obtain pre-authorisation for a consultation or surgery. They will give you a pre-authorisation number which you should quote when attending.

All the consultants at Clinica London are fee assured with BUPA and with all the major medical insurance companies (e.g. Aviva, WPA, AXA  PPP, Healix, BUPA Global, Allianz Worldwide, Exeter Freindly, Cigna etc), apart from Professor Michel Michaelides who is only fee-assured with BUPA. Fee assured means that your private medical insurance will cover your treatment at Clinica London and you will not have an excess to pay to Clinica London, unless you have a personal excess to pay in your contract with your private medical insurance company.

Please ask the receptionists about fees before your consultation

The Receptionists at Clinica London will be pleased to advise you on the consultation, treatment and surgery fees together with payment methods.
