Will I have stitches after my upper eyelid blepharoplasty?
After your upper eyelid blepharoplasty , I have to close the, what’s called the wounds, and I can use little, little stitches, they are mainly at the corners of the eye. What I like very much to do is to make the surgery sutureless or stitchless. This can be done using fibrin adhesive. This is a product which helps your own fibrin form and closes the wound naturally and it gives a very lovely and quiet wound and it promotes healing. I often recommend it for patients, so that we can make your surgery almost stitchless.
